Okay, so this is a lame confession. When I get US currency back as change (and yes, I'm talking pennies and nickels) with my daily coffee or lunch, I save them. I have a change purse and since January I have filled it with $5.65 of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and believe it or not even a dollar coin!
While $5.65 doesn't sound like much, consider this:
- can pay toll for returning to Canada on bridge from Buffalo airport
or
- will buy us 2 Mickey ice cream heads
or
- will buy us 2 bottles of water
and seeing as though we don't leave until February, that change purse will probably expand a little more!
Add a Chocolate Mousse at the ABC Commissary to that above list ;o)
